- How does the free intro call work?
- We meet for 30 minutes on video. You share what's going on; we check fit/match and what suits best (breath, yin, co-travel, or free tools first). Not a paid session, not therapy, no obligation afterwards. Book a slot: calendly.com/spiriators/30min — or via /contact.
- How soon can I start?
- After the free intro you can often book a first 1:1 within 48 hours — depending on both calendars. No long waiting list; we still check what fits and is safe.
- Do you work online — from which country?
- Online 1:1 worldwide via video with a stable connection. NL is primary; EN is available. Co-travel is on location wherever Tessa and Johannes are.
- What does a session cost?
- €60 per 60 minutes 1:1 breath (Johannes) or yin (Tessa). Couples breath €120. Platform €79 one-time. Co-travel always by arrangement (fixed packages as indication). Prices incl. VAT. Per session — no subscription required.
- Is this reimbursed by health insurance?
- No. This is wellness and coaching, not insured clinical care. On request we send an invoice for your own admin — don't count on basic or supplementary health-insurance reimbursement.
- Can I get an invoice?
- Yes, on request — for your admin or employer, not because this is 'healthcare'. Ask when booking or in the intro.
- Are you a medical or psychotherapy practice?
- No. We offer coaching and body-based work (breath, yin) as wellness. Not a substitute for a doctor, physio or mental-health services. For acute issues we refer on.
- What's the difference between breathwork and breathwork coaching?
- Breathwork is the technique or practice itself. Breathwork coaching is the guided track with Johannes: intake, sessions, integration and aftercare.
- Is breathwork safe?
- Mild exercises are fine for most people. Intensive forms (connected breath or rebirthing) need screening — e.g. epilepsy, heart issues or pregnancy. You keep the pace and may stop anytime. Wellness, not medical treatment.
- What if I panic or feel overwhelmed during breathwork?
- In online 1:1 we help you calmly come back to yourself: slower pace, supportive breath, stop or adapt anytime. No forcing. Acute crisis or severe mental-health needs require clinical care first — we don't replace that.
- What happens in a ~60 min coaching session?
- Short check-in, guided (often connected) breath, then landing and brief integration. Body first; talk where it helps. No fixed script.
- How does online yin 1:1 with Tessa work?
- On video: you on your mat; Tessa sees you and adapts poses. €60 per 60 minutes, often with here-and-now coaching. Not a class-subscription platform.
- Can I do yin as a beginner?
- Yes. Yin is accessible: feeling, not performing. No perfect poses needed. Sharp pain is a signal to release.
- Which yoga fits stress or a busy mind?
- Often yin or gentle hatha. Dynamic vinyasa can be too activating when overstimulated. Compare on the yoga hub or take the Yoga Check.
- What's the difference between a classic retreat and co-travel?
- Classic: often a fixed program at one location. Co-travel: you temporarily live with Tessa and Johannes (max about six guests), rotating places, yin and breath in their rhythm — not a resort.
- What does co-travel cost?
- Always by arrangement. Indication via fixed packages per date and location on the co-travel page.
- Can I co-travel with a partner, child or family?
- Yes — co-travel with the whole family is discussable. We can work 1:1 and (family) systemically: how you move together in rhythm, breath and relationship. Always start with a conversation to check fit (ages, intensity, logistics).
- What if a retreat/co-travel becomes too heavy?
- You may stop or step back anytime. Good guidance doesn't force; there is room for 1:1 and integration. This is not acute crisis intervention.
- Do you work with relationship patterns or addiction?
- As context, not couples therapy or an addiction clinic. Body and breath can touch patterns; for severe issues clinical care is primary — we can support complementarily.
- How do I start free today?
- Pick a free tool: breathing timer, Breath Check, Yin Check, Nomad Reset or the Nervous System Reset ebook. Then optionally a no-pressure intro. Overview: /en/free-tools.
