What can you expect?
A course in eight lessons, built from local to whole. First the pain-relieving layers (lower back, psoas), then the stuck upper back, shoulders and neck — closing with one integrating yin journey through your whole back.
Pain-relieving
Fascia release and psoas work for nagging lower-back pain and shooting pains.
Relaxing
Stuck upper back, shoulders and neck get space through long-held stretch.
Integrating
One closing yin session that connects all layers — at home on your mat, at your pace.
8 lessons · from lower back to neck
The journey through your whole back
Each lesson builds on the previous. We move from pain-relieving layers to stuck ones — ending with one session that connects everything.
Lower Back — Fascia Release
Release nagging lower-back pain
Long-held yin poses open the fascia around your lower back so tension can move.
Psoas — Open the Hips
Shooting pains in lower back / hips
The psoas muscle (from lower back via glute to hip) shortens from sitting. Soft hip openers create space.
Upper Back — Mobilise the Spine
Release a stiff upper back
Soften the spine between the shoulder blades — where stress often settles.
Shoulders — Let Go of Tension
High, held shoulders
Shoulders are allowed to sink. Yin poses around the shoulder girdle release held tension.
Neck — Soften
Stiff neck and headaches
Soft movement and stillness around the neck — from holding to letting go in the smallest joint.
Breath & Back
Breath as a bridge to release
Conscious exhale activates the vagus nerve and helps your back release deeper than stretch alone.
Daily Maintenance
10–12 min routine for a supple back
Short, repeatable poses to keep the fascia supple — at home on your mat.
Integration — The Whole Back
One yin session from lower back to neck
The closing lesson weaves all layers into one flowing yin journey through your whole back.

What clients say
Real experiences from people who worked with us — Google reviews.
“Tessa came onto my path at exactly the right moment and we've now been in contact for almost a year through 1-on-1 coaching sessions. She always manages to give me new insights or tools, without needing to know the whole context. That's truly an art. Every session is incredibly valuable and takes me step by step further. And when I lose the overview I think: what would Tessa say? And then I fall back on the many conversations we've already had. Tessa is a listening ear at a distance — she feels like a friend you don't speak to often but who always understands you, with whom you can unreservedly put your feelings on the table, because she always has a helpful answer.”
